Whether you’re commuting to work or enjoying a leisurely drive while your Android phone navigates, keeping your phone charged is crucial. From emergency calls to finding the best local eateries, your smartphone is often your lifeline.

The good news? Practically every modern smartphone features a USB-C port, making it easier to find compatible chargers. To help you make the right choice, we’ve curated a selection of the best car chargers available. Whether you need a rapid charger for a quick power boost or one that’s MagSafe compatible, these are the absolute best car chargers to suit every need.

The Spigen 75W, a simple-looking charger that packs a lot of punch, delivers more than enough power to keep two USB-C-compatible devices going. It sports a 45W PD fast charging port, a standard 30W port, and intelligent Quantum Boost technology. So, Spigen's car charger will be a great companion for long road trips, safely giving your phone a power boost between destinations.

For anyone who often requires multiple charging outlets at the same time, the Baseus CCZX-160CX boasts a remarkable 160-watt combined peak output spread across three ports. The top port provides up to 100 watts, which can charge some of the beefiest laptops at full speed as long as they include USB PD charging support. This car charger also utilizes PPS and QC 5.0 fast charging technology. These included features ensure compatibility with even the most advanced power protocols.

The Anker 535 car charger delivers 67W of power, allowing you to charge three devices at once through two USB-C ports and a USB-A port. Its small, space-saving design fits easily in your car, while the ActiveShield 2.0 Safety System ensures optimal temperature control for safe use. Plus, it comes with a 3.2 ft long USB-C cable, so you’re ready to charge right out of the box.

This charger makes it particularly easy to retain as much phone battery power as possible while you're on the go. The iOttie Easy One Touch Wireless 2 offers easily adjusted arms that secure your phone on top of a Qi wireless charging pad. Squeeze the arms to open them, and then place your phone against the trigger button in the middle of the charger. As long as your device supports wireless charging, you can refuel it at up to 10W.

Few things are more frustrating than not having enough ports for every device. Ainope aims to solve that problem with a fast-charging 90W adapter that includes a PD 30W USB-C, one QC3.0 USB-A, two standard USB-C 30W, and two 18W USB-A ports. Enjoy fast charging right from the adapter or extend power 5 feet to the back of the vehicle with a power brick designed to keep everyone connected to their devices and entertained.

The biggest pitfall with most car chargers is that they don’t come with a cable. Baseus’s 60W fast charger not only comes with a USB-C cable, the cable is attached to the car charger and can extend over 27 inches. The built-in cable is a PD 30W cord, capable of fast-charging most modern batteries. The charger also sports a standard 30W USB type A port for older devices.

The ESR HaloLock is a unique charging solution. The device is essentially a MagSafe wireless charging pad that attaches to an air vent. So, this charger won't be useful unless you have a phone that supports wireless charging (like a recent Pixel or Galaxy S) as well as a MagSafe-compatible case with the signature magnetic ring on the back. If you fulfill both requirements, this is the most convenient way to hold and charge your phone on the road.

Two USB ports — one type-C and one type-A — make Syncwire's car charger a very helpful road companion. The PD 45W and QC 45W give you access to fast charging for many devices, from the latest smartphones to an older iPhone running on a lightning cable. And despite its small stature, the Syncwire car charger has a lot to offer, like an LED light ring, gold-plated circuits, and additional safety features to prevent overcharging and overheating.

Anker offers up another great charging option with its 323 Car Charger. The device offers a dual USB port layout with a USB-C and USB-A available. The charger makes use of Anker's PowerIQ 3.0 protocol, allowing for varied compatibility from USB PD and PPS to QuickCharge. You'll also get a dual-sided USB-C cable with the 30W capable adapter.

OtterBox doesn't just make high-quality cases, and this dual USB-C port car charger is a 'case' in point. The charger supports speeds up to 30W charging output on the primary port but offers a slower 20W feed in the other. Still, this is a quality product built in a rugged outer shell for supreme longevity in your vehicle.

With up to 130W power output, the Ugreen car charger is capable of fast-charging not just smartphones, but also tablets and laptops. It’s equipped with three ports, allowing for multiple devices to charge at once, and supports a range of fast-charging protocols, including USB Power Delivery, Quick Charge 4.0, and Samsung’s 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0.

The Belkin BoostCharge can juice up an iPhone from 0-50% in a mere 21 minutes and also delivers fast charging for Android devices. Equipped with both USB-C and USB-A ports, this charger allows you to power two devices at once. Thanks to its advanced PPS technology, it dynamically adjusts the power output, providing a safe and efficient charge for your Samsung devices.

A great car charger needs to be fast, offer plenty of ports, and not take up too much space. Every charger on our list meets that criteria, and ensures you’re never left without power, though some offer greater efficiency than others.

Take our top pick from Spigen, for instance; this high-quality charger features a PD 45W USB-C port that works seamlessly with nearly all new smartphone models, making it your ideal companion for road trips — whether you own an iPhone 16 or a Samsung Galaxy S24.

If you’re willing to invest a bit more, consider the Baseus 160W charger. This premium option boasts two USB-C ports and a USB-A port, all capable of safely fast-charging multiple devices at once. With 160W of power available, even when shared among three devices, you’ll have plenty of juice for all your essentials.

Not every effective product has to break the bank, though, as Anker demonstrates with its 535 charger. Featuring two USB-C and one USB-A ports, this compact car charger offers impressive performance at an affordable price. Despite its lower cost, it supports fast charging for both PD and PPS-compatible devices, and it comes with a long USB-C to USB-C cable — something many competitors overlook.

While these three chargers represent some of the best options on the market, your choice ultimately depends on your specific power needs, budget, and even your personal style. Remember, unlike wall chargers, car chargers are always in sight, so a visually appealing option like the LED Syncwire may be more appealing than it first appears.

OtterBox makes a much better charger that can do 30+30W or 60W out of either port, with PPS. Scosche also makes a dual 30+30W charger that's smaller than most listed, and USB-IF certified. I don't trust the options at or >100W farther than I can throw them tbh, a few Spigen chargers have spit out errors on Wirecutter's Total Phase test rig, I stopped trusting theirs.
